The Amalgam Age of Comics

In 1996 and 1997 DC and Marvel temporarily put aside their differences and released a bunch of titles under the Amalgam Comics banner. The two companies worked together and created crazy, mixed up jumbles of some of their best characters. I've decided to see if I can create some new Amalgam characters using the magic of Photoshop! Spider-Man: One More Day was a controversial 2007 story in which Spider-Man and his wife Mary Jane make a deal with the demon Mephisto and sacrifice their marriage to save the life of Aunt May.  Ever wondered what would have happened if Superman was offered the same deal?I’m a big Spidey fan and it may surprise you to learn that I LIKED One More Day.  Please don’t hate me.  If anyone’s interested I give my reasons for liking that particular tale here.  Regardless, I thought it’d be fun to see Mephisto try and pull that same crap with Superman and Lois.Superman is from Action Comics #863 (2008) and Lois is from Action Comics #866 (2008).  Mephisto was originally “thwacked” by the Hulk in Incredible Hulk #418 (1994).  All three of them are drawn by the amazing Gary Frank!
